The building object of this intervention is part of a semi-detached villa with garden, consisting of a ground floor and a basement. On the ground floor the building is on three levels: the entrance and living area, the kitchen and dining area and the sleeping area with two bedrooms and a bathroom. From the living area you enter the basement which also houses kitchen, living room, two bedrooms and a bathroom. Access to the basement also takes place from the outside via a lowered paved area.
The roof consists of two pitched roofs of different length placed at “V” with opposing slopes and flood. The shorter side, supported at the end by L-shaped pillars, covers the outdoor paved area on which the living area opens, creating a portico. On the side of the building, the openings of the floor above ground are jutting with respect to the façade and they are arranged on different levels accompanying the inclination of the roof.
The intervention mainly concerns: the modification of the silhouette of the porticoed area and the redefinition of the spatial relationship between this and the living area.
The interior and exterior will be brought to the same level and treated with the same flooring in order to create visual continuity.
